I just discovered a copy of a hand-written note of my Mother's. It is SO typical of the way she lived her life! She was raised in abject poverty and loss as a child, but grew up to be one of the kindest, most gentle women I ever knew. It was a privilege to be her daughter. I learned from her how to be a good person. I still strive, as I'm sure she did, to live by this Credo.And I still miss my sweet Mother.
